Entrepreneur and contemporary art collector, Alain Dominique Perrin has owned the 500-year-old Domaine de Lagrézette since 1980. Passionately committed to producing the finest French Malbecs, M. Perrin has transformed Lagrézette from an understated Cahors gem into a world-class property – producing a wide range of voluptuous red wines – from the flagship Chateau Lagrézette to the luxury cuvee “Le Pigeonnier.”
Paramount to this end, has been the replanting program, rigorous maintenance of the vines and expansion of its spectacular vineyards. All of the wines are aged in new French oak -- in the state-of-the-art wine cellar situated at the foot of the chateau, a listed historical monument.
